Sometimes the most exciting changes begin with a simple love for something beautiful.
If you've followed Buck Wild Rags for any length of time, you probably know how much I love beautiful fabrics, colors, designs and textures. Theres just something about finding a gorgeous piece of fabric that gets my creative wheels turning.
Over the years, I've had the pleasure of creating countless wild rags, working with beautiful prints, and meeting some truly wonderful people along the way. What started with a love for Western fashion has become so much more than a business for me.
And now, I'm excited to share something a little different with you.
A Little Something New
I've always appreciated the beauty of silk. Ther's something about the way it feels, the way it drapes, and the effortless elegance it brings to even the simplest outfit.
So, after years of working with so many beautiful fabrics and creating handmade wild rags, I decided it was time to explore something new.
That's how my Heritage Silk Collection came to life.
This collection is especially meaningful to me because these aren't simply scarves I've selected to sell. They are my very own custom designs, created with the same love of color, pattern and individuality that has always been at the heart of Buck Wild Rags.
Seeing those designs come to life on a beautiful 100% silk has been such a FUN experience for me.
Still a Little Wild at Heart
Now, don't worry. I'm not saying goodbye to the wild rags that started it all!
Western Fashion will always be a part of who I am and what Buck Wild Rags represents. I've just decided to take a little "detour". I still love a great fabric hunt- and always will! I still love spotting a great paisley, a beautiful vintage floral or a mean looking polka dot.
But I've also come to appreciate that our personal style can grow and change right along with us.
Some days its jeans, sneakers and a favorite wild rag on a cool fall morning and other days its a beautiful scarf paired with a simple blouse or sweater.
And sometimes, it's a little bit of both.
That's what I love most about fashion. It changes constantly.
Why Silk?
For me, it's about more than luxury.
I love the idea of owning pieces that don't go out of style. Something you can reach for year after year (like I do with my grandmother's handed down silk scarves)
My Heritage Collection features generously sized 43-inch, 100% silk scarves with hand rolled hems and designs that reflect my love for beautiful colors and timeless patterns.
They're elegant without being fussy, versatile without being ordinary and just as lovely with denim as they are with something dressier.
That's EXACTLY what I wanted this collection to be.
